A builder who cares about his projects and clients

After receiving a few quotes for our kitchen extension we decided to go with Vasile and his crew and I’m so glad we did. Vasile and his men are such great builders, very diligent, friendly, helpful and such hard workers. I have never seen anybody working at such a pace, most days they worked long hours with just the minimum of breaks. There was no standing around, they just work and get the job done. All of them were always really friendly and helpful whenever I asked for anything. 

Vasile came to the site daily, often multiple times and was always available to meet to discuss any questions or amendments. He always answered his phone or returned my phone calls within 20 minutes. Once we had a small emergency at 9.30pm, he took my phone call and offered straightaway to return to the house that night to check that everything was OK. I think what makes him stand out from the crowd is that he cares about his projects and clients. He goes the extra mile – every day – to make sure the client is happy. Our house is semi-detached and some days our neighbour had clients in the house, whenever that was the case he just asked the workers to keep any noise down.

Our building project was always on time, Vasile kept us informed on progress and when to book other contractors so that we didn’t have much waiting time in between installations. When we had any changes or additions to the original building plans, he was happy to implement them once they were approved by the architect. He was so easy to work with, always in touch with us and the engineer – a pleasure to work with. 

Renovation can be an easy and enjoyable experience

This was our second time doing a full refurbishment of a house. After our first renovation we had not had a pleasant experience with our builder and were apprehensive about taking on another project. However our second time out turned out to be a very easy and enjoyable experience with Vassi and team. 

We bought an 1960’s property that needed to be gutted and full renovation with a new 40sq open plan extension at the rear . 

After meeting with Vasi in December he reviewed the architect plans and was ready to start early January. 

From the very start working with Vasi we could see he was a fast mover, we could not get over after the first week how much Vassi and his team had done, and that speed did not stop throughout the whole build. 

We were expecting a baby and Vassi made it his goal to get us in for the new arrival, we didn’t think we would make it in but Vasi and his team worked every hour they could and they got us in 4 days before the baby was born and two weeks earlier than the schedule. 

Although Vasi works very quickly that does not mean you get any less on quality, it just means he knows exactly what he is doing and what needs to be done. His favourite answer when I asked him when does he expect the next stage of the build to be completed and he would reply “yesterday“.  

We are extremely happy with the job that was completed we have recommended Vassi to our friends who are doing building work. Anyone that has visited our house (unfortunately not that many during Covid) couldn’t get over the quality of the finish and how quickly we got into the house. 

We still have more work to do on the house in a year or two and looking forward to working with Vasi and team again.

Vasile and his team at VT Building Services were great and they did an excellent job on our kitchen extension. They were extremely hard-working and professional. They really went above and beyond, and nothing was a problem to them. We couldn’t believe how quickly our extension was completed and the work also came in on budget. Everything was left clean and tidy, not only on a daily basis during construction, but also once the build was completed.

We are delighted with our new extension and we would have no hesitation in recommending VT Building Services.  In fact, should we decide to do any more work on our house in the future, we shall look no further than Vasile and his team.

I would have absolutely no issues recommending Vasi and his team.

This was the first time we have ever completed a refurbishment on our home .
We met Vasi along with the architect and straight off the bat I had a good feeling about him.

The architect had worked with him previously and recommended him very highly also.

Vasi was quick efficient and extremely hard working .
We live in a cul de Sac and I was conscious of our neighbours being disrupted by the work but Vasi was extremely polite to them all and very clean around the outside of the home and was conscious not to cause any issues for the neighbours.
The work took about 3 months and we were also expecting our 2nd child and Vasi did everything he could to get us back into the house before the due date.

Since completing our home Vasi has called around on 4 or 5 different occasions to ensure we were happy with the work. (Even bringing treats for the kids)
